About
Mocup space is a creative studio with focus on product photography and video production. There was a recent split of their creative forces and the client who I was working for is further continuing under the brand Studio Zero Limits.
Challenge
While I have don couple of logo reveals before, this one was really challenging. Not only was my client a former graphic designer himself and having a very strong visual sense, but on top he wanted to display a lot of meaning in just a couple of short seconds.
Solution
We managed to cut down time significantly by leaving behind my original sequential approach and overlaying multiple elements animating at the same time instead. The rusult is way shorter, but more impactful jinggle. Mocup space had also a plan to expand their portfolio under different subbrand represented by different geometric shapes: (cross for studio, circle for café, triangle for online academy and finally square for outdoor expeditions), that is why we used these shapes for animation.
